Hardware Tip

Don't use steel wool on raw wood. Steel fibers can become embedded in the wood and can rust, particularly, if you expose the wood to moisture or use any water-base products.

Gardening Tip

Refrain from mowing the lawn when it really isn't needed. Compaction of the soil by equipment wheels can result if the soil is extremely wet from rain or melting snow.
