OSH primarily services retail do-it-yourself, or DIY, customers with a distinctive offering of convenience, product selection and customer service. Core products consist of merchandise designed to meet the recurring home improvement, maintenance, and repair needs of our DIY customers, primarily in the hardware, industrial, plumbing, tools, paint, electrical, garden and nursery categories. Eighteen stores also sell a full complement of home appliances representing all major appliance brands including Kenmore, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag and Kitchen Aid.

Started in 1931, OSH began as a farmers' purchasing cooperative in San Jose, California, later expanding to include hardware, gardening supplies, housewares and homewares. Today, OSH is 88 stores strong with locations throughout California and two new stores scheduled to open this year.

CASHIER Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 8.00 to 12.50
New store in Clayton has full-time and part-time positions for Cashiers. The Cashier will tender sales transactions accurately, following company procedures and policies: scanning, bagging, and deactivating all merchandise. Acknowledge, greet, and thank all customers.  Help locate merchandise or a knowledgeable salesperson.

CONSULTATIVE SALES ASSOCIATE Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 8.30 to 13.80
New store in Clayton has full-time and part-time positions for Consultative Sales Associates. The Consultative Sales Associate provides a complete shopping experience for OSH customers, involving product knowledge and exemplary customer service. He/she is responsible for accomplishing the following business goals for sales and profit. He/she will greet and provide service to all customers.

APPLIANCE SALES ASSOCIATE Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 11.00 to 25.00 (Variable Compensation Plan)
New store in Clayton has full-time and part-time positions for Appliance Sales Associates. The Appliance Sales Associate provides proactive sales assistance and support to OSH customers by providing a complete shopping experience for OSH customers, involving product knowledge and exemplary customer service. He/she is responsible for accomplishing the business goals for sales and profit. He/she will greet and provide service to all customers.

RECEIVING ASSOCIATE Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 8.10 to 13.10
New store in Clayton has full-time and part-time positions for Receiving Associates. The Receiving Associate ensures merchandise is register ready and available to the Customer at the time the Customer desires. The Receiving Associate will receive merchandise into the store and ship merchandise from the store. In addition, the Receiving Associate will assist customers with loading of "drive by" pull tag merchandise.

PICK-UP ASSOCIATE Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 8.10 to 13.10
New store in Clayton has full-time and part-time positions for Receiving Associates. The Pick-up Associate is responsible for providing service to customers, i.e. acknowledge all Customers and assist them by loading their purchases in a safe and secure manner. He/She will maintain the stock, housekeeping, safety and security of the Pick-up station.

DEPARTMENT LEAD Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 9.80 to 16.80
New store in Clayton has full-time positions for Department Leads. The Department Lead manages the day-to-day operations of a department(s) within the store through positively influencing sales and controlling expenses. He/she defines the standard of performance for his/her department(s), clearly communicates that expectation to all associates, and evaluates the execution of that performance. In addition he/she will be responsible, as assigned, for opening or closing the store on a limited basis, i.e. will have store keys and alarm codes. He/she will manage morning or evening crews while maintaining Company standards regarding customer service, safety and security of store property.

APPLIANCE DEPARTMENT LEAD –Job Responsibilities
Pay Range 14.00 to 28.00 (Variable Compensation Plan)
