Hardware Tip

Be health conscious when grinding or sanding old plaster by wearing a respirator that is rated to protect you from fine dust.

Gardening Tip

Most gardeners are unaware that there are orchids that grow in or on the soil, not in trees. These terrestrials include the lady slippers (Cyprepediums), Paphelopediums, Epipactus, and Bletilla striata, a lavender-shaded beauty. They grow best in shady areas and require moist soils.
